“I like being able to fire people who provide services to me. If someone doesn’t give me the good service I need, I want to say, you know, I’m going to go get someone else to provide that service to me.”

— GOP presidential contender Mitt Romney, on why he believes that people should be able to purchase their own insurance and give companies an incentive to provide good service.  (via officialssay)

I don’t understand the criticism of this statement. Competition and incentive are what help economies and businesses grow. Why wouldn’t you support the ability to make your own decisions based on who provides the better service? This is nit-picking. People are having too hard a time finding flaws in Romney’s platform, and this is what they have to show for it.
